Maturity Amount
₹3,60,053
Estimate based on monthly compounding. Banks may compound quarterly, so actual maturity can differ.
How it is calculated
M = P × [((1 + i)^n − 1) / i] × (1 + i)
P is the monthly deposit, i is the monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12), and n is the number of monthly deposits. This is an estimate; banks may compound quarterly.
Example
Depositing ₹5,000 every month for 5 years at an assumed 7% annual rate gives a total deposit of ₹3,00,000 and an estimated maturity of roughly ₹3.57 lakh.
Important notes
- Estimate only — compounding convention varies by bank.
